Hey! I'm Lisa

I’ve always been passionate about graphics design, art, and the great outdoors. Growing up in New England with four brothers and a dad who were avid outdoorsmen and Boy Scouts, I developed a deep appreciation for nature and adventure. Which is rooted in my work and designs.
I’ve been a graphics and web designer for over 10 years. During that time, I’ve worked with big companies like Macy's right down to local businesses, I worked on international campaigns that were featured across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, and even collaborated with Meta.
There's nothing I love more than connecting with people, helping them share their stories, and creating brands that truly capture who they are.
In 2023, after years of freelancing and contract gigs, I finally founded my own studio, North + Kin. I love working with passionate folks who are just as excited about their business potential as I am, and I’m here to help them give their brand that feels authentic to them.
Outside of design, I’m a mom to an adventurous kiddo, a proud scout leader, and a longtime advocate for conservation and protecting the wild places that inspire my work. I’m also engaged to the love of my life, and our engagement—right in the middle of a Noah Kahan concert at Fenway Park—was one of the most unforgettable moments of my life.

About North + Kin
The name "North + Kin" holds a deep significance for me, rooted in my personal journey, the values that drive me, and the places close to my heart. No matter where I have travelled to across the globe, I've always found myself returning to the Northeast. It's forests, coastlines, and vibrant communities, serves as a beacon drawing me back home time and time again. But most importantly, It's where my family resides.
For me, being close to family and surrounded by the beauty of nature is essential. "North" pays homage to my deep connection to this region and also to the beautiful Northwest. I left a piece of my heart when we left Washington state.
While "Kin" symbolizes the importance of family and the unwavering support they have always provided. Through life's twists and turns, I've learned that your kin will always have your back, and it's this belief that drives everything I do in both life and business.
A tribute to the places and people who have shaped me, grounding me in my roots while propelling me forward in my journey.

Ready For Your Next Adventure?
Rooted in Storytelling
I believe good design starts with listening. Every brand has a story that deserves to be told well, one that’s rooted in experience, values, and purpose. I design to reflect your story, not just follow trends.
Inspired by the Outdoors
My work is influenced by where I come from—small towns, state parks, quiet trails, and the coast of Maine. I pull from the textures, tones, and rhythms of nature to create design that feels grounded and real.
Built for Connection
At the end of the day, I design so you can connect with your audience, your community, and yourself. Good design feels like coming home to your own voice.
